This year, our annual Christmas celebration led us to the heart of Germany, where we immersed ourselves in the magic of its legendary Christmas markets. Our journey began in Düsseldorf, where the sprawling market at Rheinturm Square enchanted us with its twinkling lights, festive stalls, and the aromatic scent of Glühwein and roasted chestnuts. The following day, we traveled to Cologne, where the historic Köln Cathedral served as a majestic backdrop to the city’s renowned market, brimming with handcrafted ornaments, gingerbread, and mulled wine. In Bonn, nestled along the Rhine, we explored a more intimate market blending tradition and modernity, with charming wooden huts offering everything from Stollen to hand-knitted gifts.
Our holiday culminated in a serene cruise down the Rhine River, where we sailed past fairytale castles, terraced vineyards, and twinkling villages draped in holiday lights. The gentle chime of the ship’s bell, the soft glow of candlelit windows, and the distant sound of carolers created an unforgettable finale.

Here are some photographs capturing the warmth, beauty, and joy of our journey—a visual reminder of Germany’s timeless Christmas charm. Prost und frohe Weihnachten!
